BBM For BlackBerry 10 Updated

After BlackBerry rolled out an update to Android & iOS devices, it was only natural we'd come to see an update to our favourite platform: BlackBerry 10.

On Friday, the update became available across the globe containing bug fixes and performance updates. There's nothing specific past that, as alike the Android update -- though it never hurts to get an update that keeps things running smoothly.

Be sure to give the app an update by heading to BlackBerry World and checking for ...

BBM Channels Update Brings Statistics for Individual Posts

Who ever said BlackBerry doesn't care about Channels?

Today, some BlackBerry Channel users noticed an extra icon on their posts when using the online Channel Web Portal, which when clicked shows an interesting and handy new feature. What the icon takes you to, is a breakdown of the selected posts user demographics; such as Country, Age, Gender and Operating System.

Interestingly, BlackBerry quietly rolls out these features without much warning or publicity. Futher more, today happens to be BBM Channels 3 Year aniversary.

BlackBerry Expands Android Beta Zone To Include Applications

Not long ago, BlackBerry launched a Beta Program for Priv users to test out the recently released Android M update. Next week, they'll be adding the accepted users into a program to beta test BlackBerry-made applications such as Hub, Camera, and Calendar via the Google Play Store.

Note: If you didn't opt-in for the Marshmallow Beta, you will not be able to access the applications betas.

Pini comes with extensive experience in the hardware department, most notably the development and sale of the Motorola Razr – a device which I had always craved for in its heyday. During Pini’s ...

Welcome to BlackBerryCentral’s #ThrowbackThursday!

Each Thursday the BlackBerryCentral team will go back in the BlackBerry Chronicles to give you a glimpse of nostalgia. This will include device launches and announcements that made BlackBerry a household name and a superstar status.

Seeing how yesterday I wrote on how the BlackBerry 6210 was named the 24thMost Influential Gadget of All Time” by TIME Magazine. There was no doubt what should be featured in today’s #ThrowbackThursday; the 6210 but of course.

The BlackBerry 6210 ...

BlackBerry Named to the "Most Influential Gadgets of All Time" list

Yesterday TIME Magazine released its “50 Most Influential Gadgets of All Time” list. With no surprise to this writer a BlackBerry device made its way to said list. Coming in 24th place was the BlackBerry 6210. Essentially, it was the first BlackBerry to bring everything together such as email, web-browsing and phone calls. This is what TIME had to say about the device:

BlackBerry made pocket-sized gadgets for accessing email on-the-go before the 6210, but this was the first to combine the ...
