Android Marshmallow Update For Priv Expected Late April

Another reveal during today's earnings call, was that the largely anticipated Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update is heading to handsets in late April / Early May depending on approvals.

BlackBerry 10.3.3 Release Moves To Mid-June

During the Q4 Fiscal 2016 Earnings Call, BlackBerry CEO John Chen dropped that the OS 10.3.3 update for BlackBerry 10 wouldn't be arriving as early as we were initially told.

BlackBerry has just released its results and here are the highlights for your pleasure:

Q4 Highlights

  • Non-GAAP total revenue of $487 million
  • Non-GAAP software and services revenue of $153 million, up 106% percent for the same quarter year over year, allowing software and services revenue to grow to $527 million in FY 2016

BBM for Android Updated: Adds Marshmallow Support

If the leaks weren't enough indication for you as to how close Android 6 is for the Priv, BlackBerry has just updated the official BBM app in the Play Store to support Marshmallow 6.0+ devices.

Here's what's new:

BlackBerry Priv Spotted With Android Marshmallow

With anticipation building among Priv owners, some images and now a video have surfaced showing the device running the upcoming Android 6.0.1 update - known as Marshmallow.
