UPDATED: BlackBerry set for a 35% Workforce Reduction

It appears that the workforce reductions are not over for BlackBerry after all.  There are multiple sources citing multiple reports that BlackBerry is set to cut 35% of its Waterloo-based staff.  This would be approximately 1,000 employees.  Additionally, it appears that the hardest cut section is coming to the BlackBerry 10 and Device development teams.  Ultimately, this has just added fuel to fire of the great “BlackBerry 10 dead or alive” debate which is running rampant throughout the community.

Check Out Video Recording On BBM Channels

More users are reporting being able to record brief videos via the BBMC web portal - a feature announced nearly a year ago, that's finally begun functioning. The sub application within BBM has been long neglected by BlackBerry and demanded by the fan base for an update.
