Sunil Lalvani Quits As BlackBerry India Head

According to sources, Sunil Lalvani has departed as the Managing Director of Indian Operations at BlackBerry.

He's held this position since early 2013, until this month, and was earlier the head of BlackBerry's Indian enterprise business - facing some of the toughest challenges in BlackBerry's history. While the reasons for the leave are still unknown, Matthew Tonkin, VP, Carrier Sales and Distribution, APAC, will lead operations in India as an interim position.

The Grand River Hospital serves more than 700,000 people in the Waterloo Region, and announced today that they have chosen BlackBerry 10 and a select suite of Enterprise services from BlackBerry as their chosen EMM.
