Another new version of OS 10.3.1 has popped up today, and as we all know, an over the air (OTA) upgrade availability is subject to carrier certification and approval. So what if you’re not interested in waiting?

Rest assured we’re here to help. Here is a method which enables you to update your device to the latest version.

Before we begin, please be advised this is a guideline only. You must exercise caution while performing all actions. Always backup of your device first. BlackBerryCentral will not be responsible to any failure / damage that may be caused to your device during the process.

 

Required Tools

  • Download and install Sachesi for Windows or Mac (current version is v2.0.0 RC).

  • Micro USB Cable

 

Upgrade Process

  • Connect your device to your computer with your Micro USB cable

  • Launch Sachesi

  • Download the proper OS, Radio and App files for your device:

  • Once the downloads completes, navigate to the Install tab in Sachesi

  • Select Install Files. In the file explorer window, navigate to the folder where you saved the downloads and select the Apps, OS and the Radio file. The installation process will be carried out now. You can also put all these files into a unified folder, and select Install Folder on Sachesi instead.

  • Patiently wait until the new version is installed on your device. (This may take up to an hour or so. Do not use or unplug your device during the entire process.)

  • Once the installation is done, your device will restart.
