That's today, in case you were wondering. Indeed, BlackBerry is set to launch the DTEK60 today (finally), after some marketing re-arranging.

Available starting in Canada, US, UK and Germany - you can expect your pre-orders to begin shipping around November 7th. This is BlackBerry's third Android phone, and also happens to be their highest spec'd handset since their journey into an alternative operating system.

DTEK60 To Come in White

Confirmations

This was also largely talked about before the Priv launch (and frankly well after), as to whether a white edition would be coming out. For obvious marketing reasons, it was never released - but that also leaves folks wondering when they can scoop up another white BlackBerry.

Unfortunately, there aren't any plans to bring a white DTEK50 or DTEK60 to market. For now, you'll have to suck it up and stick with the traditional black.

BlackBerry Mercury Another TCL Device

Confirmations

While TCL makes a lot of sense, given that the current DTEK devices are coming out of there - we don't have full confirmation on the manufacturers just yet.

The device exists in a couple of prototypes - and even Chen himself is carrying one around in his jacket pocket - but until December, we likely won't know for sure where all the manufacturing is going. Based on the biometrics, keyboard, and device design - theres a good chance we may see some Samsung in here.
